The paint remover C&CS#754 is a cold paint remover in the bath
The special features of this certified in-house development are:
- Reactive temperature below 20 °C
- applicable for aluminium, steel, metal, selected plastics
- non-corrosive for the mentioned materials
- Halogen-free (non-carcinogenic)
- Environmental protection: 100% biodegradable
- Recycling system
Aluminium rims & frames, steel parts, entire assemblies, plastic parts, bulk material, etc. can be easily and completely stripped of almost all types of paint. The carrier materials aluminium and steel as well as many plastics are not attacked. The low reaction temperature of below 20°C guarantees a safe & easy handling.
The coating often peels off in its entirety as a swollen layer and can be peeled off, sieved or removed from the solution. Depending on the type and thickness of the coating, the performance volume can be up to 4.8qm/litre and even more. The swollen paint layer dries completely on an appropriately safe base so that it can be disposed of in the residual waste.
The paint stripper C&CS #754 is a solvent-based, acidic cold stripper.
Compared to other solvents commonly used so far, such as methanol, dichloromethane, NMP (N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) and others, our paint stripper offers a much higher application safety: very low vapour pressure at room temperature (approx. 10 mbar) and an ignition temperature of over 34 °C.
Furthermore, our solvent is "easily biodegradable" according to OECD test guideline 301C. Aluminium and steel parts also benefit from internal corrosion protection, which simplifies further processing. In practice, C&CS #754 has proven itself with all common paints on aluminium, steel and plastic (it is essential to test individually beforehand). The product is particularly popular in the area of vintage cars and restoration, bicycle and motorcycle components, sheet metal assemblies, fittings, handles, rims, tuning parts, railings, bulk material, ...
